there yet, I'd stop and try to do what I can. Sounds like if they guys chest hadn't been smashed in, he probably still would have died from massive bleeding from his arm being detatched. It sounds like the guy was beyond hope reguardless if you had shown up earlier. Don't beat yourself over it. I have yet to witness a horrible crash, nor have I seen injured people from them, the EMT's always have been there before me. In the past couple of years, I have lost a few friends to accidents. Just a couple of weeks ago, my old next door neighbor from back home was killed in an accident with her boyfriend. He was racing his Civic in the rain, flipped over and slid into on-coming traffic. They didn't have a chance in hell either, just like this guy. I didn't even get to say goodbye because I couldn't go back home to see the family or the wake.
